This example demonstrates the one click scale conversion feature of vielklang that makes it easy to convert your melody lines to the scale and root note you want. First, you hear the original, then harmonized in minor, then in major and finally in a "gipsy scale". The original sax sample was kindly provided by Christoph Borner.
This example takes a short single voiced loop (played at the beginning of the demo), then plays the default harmonization of it (no editing or configuration involved).
After that we take this very loop and use vielklangs snapshot system to rearrange the loop and match it to an underlying beat, using different trigger point and playing at different tempi. The original brass loop was kindly provided by ueberschall.
This example showcases some of vielklang's abilities in the context of a complete song. We did harmonize only parts of the lead vocal line, sometimes using just one overdub voice synthesized by vielklang. The audio was kindly provided by aerosol.
Original (without vielklang):
Harmonized (by vielklang):
This example shows the usage of triggered harmonizations with vielklang in an arrangement. The triggers are delayed to the lead vocals. Nothing but the lead vocals are used to generate the background voices. The audio was kindly provided by aerosol.
This example shows some possibilities the snapshots system offers. We took the sax example (Audio Example 1), and divided it into several (relatively short) parts that are stored in separate snapshots. Then we use snapshots and tempo modifications to create a completely new brass section. The video shows vielklang during song playback. A bass and a percussion sample were added to complete the example, but all brass/sax sounds are exclusively made by vielklang from the original sax input file.
